On April 17th,the assistant professor Ms. Su Wenting from the Enterprise-University-Research Platform of HFUis invited to attend the opening ceremony for the China-Italy Design Innovation Base as well as the Design Exhibition in Milan, Italy. In the next 10 daysshe will participate in the “China-Italy Design Workshop” organized by Milan Polytechnic College together with staff from Milan Polytechnic College, Tsinghua University and other universities and relevant enterprises.
Delegates from both China and Italy attend the ceremony, headed by Mr. Song Xuefeng(Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Milan) and Mr. Giuseppe Sarah(Mayor of Milan) respectively. The workshop members will be shown to “2018 Milan International Furniture Exhibition” and some Italian top-class enterprises like Maserati, Ferrari, Benelli, Vodafone and so on.
With the collaborative and innovative enterprise-university-research developmentin HFU over the past few years, the Department of Art and Design takes the initiative to promoteoverseas cooperation and communication with such famous universities as Ming Chuan University (Taiwan), Technological College of Magdeburg-Stendal (Germany), Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod (Russia) and so on, aiming to develop the discipline of art and design from international perspective. Meanwhile, it endeavors to build a long-term cooperation with well-known enterprises as well.
